Educational Estimates - Expanded List of Education Variables available for 2007 and 2011

This data set has an expanded list of 700+ education variables available as a flat file for block groups, tracts, counties, states, and zip codes. Variables include school enrollment in public vs. private schools by the level of education and by sex in the population 3+; educational attainment for population 25+ broken out by sex; school enrollment in public vs. private by level of education and by race for the population 25+; as well as educational attainment by sex and by race for the population 3+.

The price for these data is $300 for the complete set of national data, or $150 for a single state of data. Data comes as a flat .csv file that can easily be opened and imported in database and spreadsheet software. Data includes both the 2007 estimates and the 2012 projections.


Annual Estimates 2001-2005 and Estimates 2006 & Projections 2011 Package

Get 5 years of estimates data with the Annual Estimates Professional 2001-2005, as well as the Estimates Professional 2006/2011 in this package deal. This two DVD package has estimates for the years following the last decennial census and prior to the most recent current year estimates - 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006, as well as projections for 2011.

If you need to track population and demographic trends for the years following the most recent census, then you need this two product package. It comes with full inventory of population and income estimates, including variables such as age by sex by race, housing data, households, consumer expenditures, and profiles.

Both products have the same geographies: states, counties, tracts, block groups, zip codes, and radius. Block Level Estimates - 2007 Block Estimates now available

There are over 8 million census blocks in Demographic Data Center is now offering current year estimates available at the block level. Use these granular level data to map population distributions and target very small geographic areas. Variables include detailed age, gender, race, householder, and housing variables. In addition to the current year estimates, we also have all the years since the Census 2000, up to including the current year. Pricing is available for the nation, a single state, a selection of counties, a single county, and smaller selections. For all 8+ million blocks of the nation for all the population variables, the price is $3,500. For a single state, it is $2,000. Multiple counties (up to 5) are $1,500. A single county is $1,000. If your latest project needs data that is not covered by our standard current year estimates and 5-year projections, or perhaps you need population projections further out than our 5-year projections, then let our experienced professional staff produce these demographic data for you.

If our standard current year estimates and 5-year projections are not adequate for your project, the Demographic Data Center can add the intervening years such as 2008, 2009, and 2010. We also build projections for other years, such as 2016 or 2021. Based on our sound methodological foundation, we can provide you with the estimates and projections data you need for any research project and at any geography.
